  • Where are you located?

    We are open Weekends & Labor Day: August 31 - October 27, 2024
  • Ticket Exchanging/Changing Ticket Dates

    Online ticket purchasers are permitted one (1) transfer through Big Tickets for any other available date. Ticket transfer requests must be made 5 days prior to the event date by contacting Big Tickets at support@bigtickets.com or calling 888-318-2752.

  • Having a Will Call Ticket On Sold Out Days
    Guests that have a "will call" ticket can pick it up at the Will Call Window during festival hours and use their ticket whenever they choose, even if dated tickets are sold out for the day.
  • Do you offer senior and military discounts?

    Seniors: Simply show your ID at the Information Booth to receive one free beverage of your choice. Enjoy a complimentary soda, tea, bottled water or coffee as you explore the festival’s many delights. Cheers to a refreshing time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival!

    Military: Join us for Heroes and Young Adventures Weekend, the last weekend of the season during which military and first responders with a $3 discount on admission AT THE TICKET BOOTH.

  • Are you family/child friendly?
    Yes! We are a family-friendly festival. Do expect some innuendos and jokes that will go over the wee ones heads. Any adult shows will be clearly marked.
  • Do you have a lost and found?
    Lost & Found is located at the gazebo across from the souvenir booth. You can contact the festival office on Mondays if you are looking for an item 513-897-7000.

  • Consumption/Use of Legal Marijuana

    To protect our liquor license, the Ohio Renaissance Festival strictly prohibits the consumption of any marijuana products on festival grounds, including smoking, vaping, edibles, and other methods. This policy is in compliance with state regulations, and violation may result in removal from the festival.

    We respect personal choices but must enforce this rule to ensure the festival’s continued good standing with the state liquor board.

  • Can I use a credit card at the festival?
    Many of our vendors and booths have the ability to take card, however, the cellular signal on grounds can be weak during busy times so we suggest brining cash as a backup.
  • Are you handicapped accessible?
    Most of our vendors have ramps and we have handicapped stalls at all bathroom locations. However, our pathways are gravel so please expect rough terrain. We are not renting mobility scooters at this time.

    We are not renting mobility scooters at this time.
  • Where is the first aid tent?
    The first aid tent is located directly next to the front gate.
  • Is there cell service or wifi at the park?
    We do not offer wifi at the park and the cell service can often be weak. We advice all guests turn their phone to airplane mode when not in use to preserve signal. Print or take a screenshot of your ticket email before you arrive at the park.
  • Do I have to dress according to the weekend’s theme?
    No! It can be fun to join in on the theme, but you are free to dress however will make your festival day fun for you!
  • Can I get married at the festival?
    Yes! See our wedding page for details. You can also rent the park as a venue outside of the festival season! See our Renaissance Park website for more information.

  • When can I park?
    The parking lot typically opens at 9:30 am.
  • How much is parking?
    Parking is FREE!
Policies
  • Do you operate during inclement weather?
    Yes! We are a rain or shine festival. In the rare event we do cancel, look for notice on the homepage and on social media.
  • Can I bring food and drink into the festival?
    No. We have a no outside food or drink policy.
  • Can I bring my pet?
    We have a no pets policy. Service animals are welcome. Please see our Service Animal Policy.
